The OpenUI SuperMod gives you advanced display and formatting capabilities when using the OpenUI for Miva Merchant™ 4. It includes full category and product template pages, as well as a suite of other page templates for your entire Miva Merchant 4 store. Virtual Modules can be used throughout the store to manipulate the display using OpenUI hooks. Each Virtual Module, in a specific, unique way, changes the display of your Miva Merchant 4 storefront. End Users can add as many VMods to their storefront as needed.
The DynamicTemplate™ Engine
The OpenUI SuperMod contains a robust template engine for creating HTML and OpenUI Tokenized templates anywhere in your store. The DynamicTemplate language is a full-feature mini-scripting language including control & looping structures that provides flexibility never before found in any Miva Merchant display module.
The OpenUI SuperMod Editors
The OpenUI SuperMod was not just built to accept Virtual Modules - it was built to allow you to create your own Virtual Modules. The three primary reasons to invest in the OpenUI SuperMod are:
- Cost Savings: You no longer need to invest in many of the “look and feel” modules on the market to get your storefront to look the way you want it to look.
- Control: You are now in control of your storefront display and you can choose where you want any output to be displayed. The OpenUI SuperMod allows you to place the module output anywhere in your store where there is an OpenUI Hook Point. From alternating the product font colors to the specific layout of a template, you can decide how your storefront looks.
- Conflict Resolution: You can work within the OpenUI SuperMod to display templates in only specific sections of your store, to determine the exact placement of the output of the Virtual Modules, and to determine the placement of the output of any other third-party module that is compatible with the OpenUI SuperMod. Any accidental conflicts can be easily resolved by moving the output of the conflicting Virtual Module or module to a different Hook Point on the screen.
